GRAPHIC DESIGNER | Meet Yasaman Rasteh
Yasaman Rasteh, or “Yasi”, has been a designer with Main St. Group® for 4+ years and brings 10+ years of design experience. She has a strong background in project management and architecture, as well as design skills and experience working in a client-facing capacity.
Yasi is the design powerhouse behind some of our team’s personal favorite retail display projects from this past year. She brings a strong creative eye balanced by a deep understanding of brand standards and client needs.

How do you apply your expertise to help MSG better serve our customers?
I focus on being involved from the very beginning of the client journey. During the initial calls, I try to gather as much information as possible, really listen to the client, and understand what they are looking for. From there, I make sure we address their needs clearly and thoughtfully so they feel confident and supported throughout the process.
What is your favourite part of working at MSG so far?
One of my favourite parts of working at Main St. is the team. Everyone is friendly, respectful, and highly professional, and there’s a strong sense of mutual respect across the team. What stands out to me is the level of trust and flexibility in how we work. It creates a comfortable environment where you feel supported and valued. It doesn’t feel like you’re just doing your job in isolation; you genuinely feel like part of a team.
What inspires you? Where do you find inspiration for your work?
As a designer, inspiration can come from anywhere, but I rely heavily on research. I spend time understanding the market and, more importantly, the client’s brand before starting any work. That foundation helps guide the design more intentionally. My background in architecture also gives me a deeper understanding of how things are designed and built, which naturally influences my work.
Is there anything else our prospective clients / Customers might like to know about you and how you contribute to MSG?
My combined background in design and architecture helps me approach projects with both creative and practical thinking. I focus on delivering work that is not only visually strong but also functional and aligned with the client’s goals.
How about outside of work? Any fun facts or hobbies? Special interests?
Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies with my husband and taking yoga classes. It helps me relax and reset.
What’s your drink of choice?
I’m not a big drinker, but on special occasions I enjoy sparkling wine. In the summer, a cold beer is always refreshing.
