Who we are
Main St. Group Inc. designs, produces and delivers point of sale displays, retail campaigns and merchandising solutions. Our head office is at 640 Main St., Woodstock, Ontario, N4S 8Y5, Canada, with offices in Vancouver, San Francisco and New York. This policy also covers our specialist divisions, Highline and Corktown.
This policy explains what information we collect through mainst-group.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form on our website, we collect your first name, last name, email address and whatever you write in your message. If you contact us by email or phone, we keep a record of that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you look at, how long you stay, and the site you arrived from.
We do not ask for or collect payment details, government identification, or sensitive personal information through this website.
Why we collect it
We use the information you give us to reply to your enquiry, to provide the services you ask about, and to keep in touch about work we're doing together.
We use the automatically collected information to understand how people use our site so we can improve it.
If you have asked to hear from us, or if we have an existing business relationship with you, we may send you occasional updates about our work. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe, and we act on those requests.
Who else is involved
We use a small number of established suppliers to run our website and our business. These companies process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Squarespace hosts our website and stores form submissions.
Google Analytics provides anonymised statistics about how the site is used.
Microsoft provides our email and our customer relationship management system, where we keep records of enquiries and client relationships.
Some of these suppliers are based in the United States, which means your information may be transferred and stored outside Canada.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are required to by law.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Some are necessary for the site to work at all. Others help us understand how the site is being used, through Google Analytics.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, parts of the site may not work properly.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client records for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and for up to seven years afterwards. Website analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, or delete it. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under Canadian, United States or European privacy law. We will honour those rights regardless of where you are.

Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who inside the company can access it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the responsibility seriously.
Children
Our website is aimed at businesses, not children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on this page.
